A Sabbatical Prayer

Guide us, Lord, as we all journey through the months ahead together. Help us to walk trustingly in faith with our parish family and to serve one another humbly. May we always be aware of your presence and direction in all we do. Amen.

What Will it Take?

Statement of the Rt. Rev. Eugene Taylor Sutton, Episcopal Bishop of Maryland, on the Charleston, S.C. murders at Emanuel AME Church, June 17 June 18, 2015 I am heartsick, outraged and in pain. Last night we saw another shooting in a church, a house of prayer and peace. Innocents are killed because they represent something…

Summer Pledges

Reflections on the Situation in Baltimore

The news from Baltimore has touched all of us in one way or another. It may be the injury and death of Freddie Gray, or the grief of his family and community, or the anger of many, or the peaceful marches, or the violent protests, or the looting and destruction of property, or the history of mistrust, inequality and injustice that gets…
