On Sundays, however, we do use words to proclaim…
Rector – I Need to Breathe Deeply Enjoy this poem, I Need to Breathe Deeply, by Ted Loder, while I’m away for my last bit of summer vacation. Yours in God’s peace, Kristin+ Eternal Friend, grant me an ease to breathe deeply of this moment, this light, this miracle of now. Beneath the din and…
Rector – Appalachia Reflections Not quite a week home from our trip to Barnes Mountain in Kentucky and I am still reflecting on our time there – the work we did, the people we met, how we created community, and where God was in all of it. Some of you heard several of our youth…
Vestry – Taking Care Part of the work of the vestry is to ensure that we are being good stewards of the resources we are provided by caring for and ensuring that future generations will be able to worship, learn and grow together in this wonderful space. This is why I know the vestry and…
Rector – General Convention Wrap-Up Before we look ahead to being the host Diocese for the 80th General Convention of The Episcopal Church in 2021 in Baltimore, I invite you to take some time to review what happened at the 79th General Convention in Austin, TX earlier this month. You can find a concise wrap-up…
Prayer for the Feast of St. James O gracious God, we remember before you today your servant and apostle James, first among the Twelve to suffer martyrdom for the Name of Jesus Christ; and we pray that you will pout out upon the leaders of your Church that spirit of self-denying service by which alone…
