Vestry Time to Freshen-Up If you can come out for an hour or three, we’d appreciate your assistance at a workday sprucing up our building and grounds. This workday will run this Saturday from 9 to noon, August 28th. We’ll address a few items that need attention, some are indoors, some…
From the Rector Fall Worship Plans If you’ve been anywhere on social media for the past week you’ve likely seen a slew of “My fall plans // The Delta variant” memes. I had to share the one above because if you know, you know – I learned early not to get…
Buildings and Grounds There’s lots to do on Church Work Day! The closings and distancing of the last year made it very difficult to keep up with maintenance tasks at St. James’. We’ve missed one fall and two spring work days which means there’s lots of Building & Grounds jobs to complete to keep things…
From the Rector Updated Diocesan COVID Guidelines First let me say is so good to be back with you all after being away for July. I hope you are also finding time for refreshment this summer. Unfortunately however, in recent weeks we have seen a sharp rise in Covid infections and…
Altar Guild You may have noticed a different look to the altar during the month of July. While Kristin+ was away, we celebrated with the Morning Prayer Service. Candles were the only items on the altar! Ashley Conlon provided the beautiful arrangements beside the altar. The Altar Guild would like to…
