It’s been an amazing week so far with 32 campers at MAD Camp. Check out our Facebook event page to see the amazing arts and crafts, set building, and singing that is going on. Everyone is invited to join us tomorrow at 6:00 pm for a festive potluck, followed by a 6:45 pm performance of Rats! The Story of the Pied Piper.
This week would not have been possible without the dauntless leadership and vision of Len Langrick, as well as Cheryl Windsor and Cathy Schell – costume and prop creators extraordinaire. Additionally thanks goes to Bill Schell for set design, his ability to lead the kids in creating it, and for installing it in the church. Mara Snyder was also a daily presence doing anything and everything needed. So many parents of campers also generously volunteered time and brought snacks. This week would not have been possible without everyone jumping in and making a beautiful ad hoc camp community!
