The Shell Newsletter – September 23, 2021

Vestry

It’s been relatively quiet recently for our Vestry members. We’ve met to review the diocesan COVID policies and decide how to implement them at our Church, Thrift Shop, and Nursery School. The underlying goal is to keep everyone safe while returning operations as close to normal as possible. Challenges arise when we try to balance those two objectives – they’re sometimes in tension with each other. It helps that we have a thoughtful group.

When you get a chance, take a look at the many offerings for this year’s basket raffle and encourage friends to drop by too. It’s open until this Sunday, September 26. We appreciate all the work that went into this – thank you all for your gifts and talents.

We’ll continue to celebrate both services outdoors in the Memorial Garden for a while. Thank you for your flexibility in these changing times.

If you’d like a nice mid-week break, I’d recommend the 11:30 Thursday bible study. It’s a quick hour on Zoom and it can help recenter your day.
