Financial Help for Parishioners

The members of our community who gave a generous donation to the Rector’s Discretionary Fund with the hope of helping parishioners with winter heating assistance have extended these funds to help parishioners in whatever way needed during these tough times. Please reach out to me for more information if we can help you in the coming months.

Yours in God’s peace,
Kristin+

Nursery School

December was a fun month for the children at St James’ Nursery School. They had a month filled with Christmas crafts, Christmas songs, and had a Christmas concert via zoom where parents could sign in to watch the children’s concert. The classes also participated in Grinch day. All the children wore something green and brought in canned veggies to donate to the food drive.  After the New Year the kids returned back to a pajama party!! The children each brought hygiene items to donate to the Mount Airy Net and got to wear their favorite pajamas to school.

The nursery board met last week to discuss the installation of security cameras. Currently they are gathering quotes from different companies and hope to make a decision soon so cameras will be installed for the upcoming school year.
