Summer Savings at the Thrift Shop!
Is it tacky if I say it pays to be a member? Probably – but this summer it’s true! Look in your Sunday bulletin beginning this week for a special coupon for members of St. James’ only for $5 off a purchase of $20 or more at our Thrift Shop.
The fun thing about the Thrift Shop is that you never know what you’ll find. Speaking 
from own experience, I’ve picked up earrings, clothes, kitchen items, and one of a kind treasures like this hand carved goose made from an antler.
I keep it on my desk to remind me that the Holy Spirit is always trying to get my attention J The point is, however, that we have an amazing Thrift Shop with dedicated staff and volunteers – and if you haven’t been in to check it out in a while then now is the perfect time. Coupons expire at the end of August, so don’t put it off!

Nursery School
The Nursery School students have finished their school year. We hope that both they and our staff are enjoying their summer break. The school is still active during the summer though, this is a time for restoring. One change will be noticeable by all at Saint James. Our church parking lot will have signage and a speed bump installed just above the student drop off and pick up area to increase safety for the young ones. Inside the floor downstairs will be cleaned, stripped and waxed from June 30 to July 6th. Enjoy summer!
