Interested folks will have the opportunity to gather with others to read and reflect on three different books throughout the coming year.
The first book will be Everything Happens For A Reason – And Other Lies I’ve Loved by Kate Bowler. The author is a professor at Duke Divinity School who specializes in the study of the prosperity gospel, a creed that sees fortune as a blessing from God and misfortune as a mark of God’s disapproval. When she is faced with a diagnosis of stave IV colon cancer, she faces both her death and her faith. Click the image below to read more and order.
Pick it up this month and sign up to join the group – we will set a date in November to gather over coffee or a meal for prayer, discussion, and reflection.

A new book will be announced in January, with a gathering in February – and then the final book will be picked in March, with a gathering in May.
