A note from St. James’ member Paula Morrow, who is a member of The Worker Sisters and Brothers of the Holy Spirit:
The Worker Sisters and Brothers of the Holy Spirit is an international Covenant Community that offers women and men, regardless of marital status, a path for individual spiritual growth through a life commitment to a Rule of Life. We are comprised of lay and clergy members who seek to nurture the Holy Spirit’s Fruit in our lives wherever we are. Friends and Companions of the order gather and pray with us but are not required to take lifetime vows. WSHS/WBHS is recognized by The Episcopal Church Standing Committee on Religious Orders.
Part of our witness is to wear our habits when we serve in the parishes where we are members, which is something you will notice when I am scheduled as a Reader and Chalice Bearer. I am happy to answer any questions about Worker Sisters and Brothers of the Holy Spirit.
