Please plan to stay – or arrive early – this Sunday to attend our Annual Meeting at 9:30 a.m. in the sanctuary. Two essential pieces of work we will do are electing new Vestry members and announcing our next Senior Warden, and reviewing the 2016 financials and accepting the 2017 budget. In addition there will be presentations on upcoming projects at St. James’, and recognition of a few members who have gone above and beyond in service to our community in the past year. The meeting will last an hour or less and coffee and snacks will be available to enjoy while we take a look at the state of our parish and look ahead to what comes next.
Children will gather upstairs like they usually do before Sunday School. They will lead us in song and prayer to open our meeting before heading downstairs for a movie and crafts.
I look forward to seeing you all there for this once a year chance to gather and look at the ministry and mission of our church all together.
