St. James’ Outreach is supporting a new way for families to celebrate Advent, the Reverse Advent Calendar activity. The idea is to mark the days until Christmas, but instead of getting something each day the idea is to collect items to give to others every day. We believe this is a wonderful way to provide much needed support to Mt. Airy
The idea is for St. James’ families to collect the items during Advent, bring them to be blessed at the January 8th services, and then we will take the collected items to Mt. Airy Net. Interested families are welcome to help with the delivery, so everyone can see exactly where their gifts are going and how they will be used.
