This year’s Memorial Day Weekend Camp Out
will be Saturday, May 28th to Sunday, May 29th

KEEP YOUR FINGERS CROSSED AND YOUR EYE ON THE PARISH WEBSITE!
Setup starts on Saturday at 5:00 PM and we should be ready to serve dinner around 6:00 PM. We’ll get the fire pit going near sunset and cook s’mores for everyone. We’ll keep the fire pit going until about 11:00 PM. A light breakfast will be around 7:30 AM followed by a single church service at 9:30 AM. The Youth Group will be hosting a brunch after church as a fundraiser for their summer service trip to Texas.
As in years past, the Camp Out Committee will provide hamburgers, hot dogs and fixings. Please bring a side or desert to share and your favorite drinks. And don’t forget to bring lawn chairs and outdoor games. We will be camping in the field next to the church. Please contact Victor Pellicier if you have any questions about the event.
Right now the forecast looks favorable, but if there is any question, check the website Friday and Saturday and we’ll make sure to update info if plans need to be changed or the Sunday worship service needs to be moved indoors. My boys and I are excited for our first time experiencing this St. James’ tradition and hope to see many of you there!
