Scouting America Troop 829
No Scout Left Behind
Our Family troop accepts all youth from 11-17. The troop is scout-led, focusing on developing youth leadership by giving scouts responsibility for managing many of their activities. We are the only Mount Airy based combined troop serving both boys and girls in a single unit..

Sunday School is Coming!

The 26/27 Sunday School year is quickly approaching.
In-person Sunday School registration will take place on Sunday, September 13, 2026. Sunday School classes will begin on Sunday, September 20, 2026 at 9:30 am.
Our teaching team is in prep mode, and it would be useful to have an early count of children who will be participating. Preschoolers through 12th grade are welcome. If your child(children) will be participating this year, please fill out the early registration form at the link below.
Youth Group is Starting Up!
Sunday, September 20, 2026 at 5:00 pm
Youth Group will meet on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of every month, 5pm-7pm. The first Sunday will be scripture-based programming and the third Sunday will be an opportunity for relationship-building through outings that the youths choose themselves. All school-aged youths are welcome to join us. Dinner will be provided free-of-charge. Outings are paid by parents and sufficient notice will be given for permission and payment.
