News about Sunday School

It is a joy to report that the Lenten mite box offerings amounted to $552.37, which was matched by our Outreach Committee totaling $1,104.74. This amount was presented to Rick & Mary Anne Smith on July 6th for our A is for Africa outreach project. On their next visit to Tanzania the funds will help provide water to the school children by means of a well, which is currently being hand dug. Imagine the benefits and thrill the children will receive from having their own well. Thank you for your support!

Now that August has arrived, it is time for us to begin thinking about our upcoming Sunday School program which will begin September 13th. We will continue to have Bible Stories for our preschoolers, music for all children, and classes for kindergarten through high school every Sunday morning from 9:30-10:15 a.m. in the lower level.

Our curriculum, Living the Good News, is lectionary based, teacher friendly and age/grade related. Some of our teachers enjoy team teaching and/or term teaching. If you think you are interested in teaching and would like to borrow a lesson guide to look through, please contact one of the co-directors. We love volunteers!

We hope each and every family has had an opportunity to spend time together to renew, relax and refresh over the summer. We look forward to hearing from your children about their summer adventures.
